Vedic Vision.

Rashi / sign stand for 360 degree space around us. Whatever karm we do or wish to do will be stored in this space and subsequently we reap results of what we have sown.

We know there are 3 type of Rashi's.

1. Moving Sign - Aries  /Cancer  / Libra  / Capricorn. 

They represent movement, activities, energy and abilities to achieve Etc.

2. Fixed sign - Taurus  /Leo  / Scorpio / Aquarius. 

They show firmness , status quo , stability, moving everything around them , determination, resistance, and fixed outlook Etc.

3. Dual Sign - Gemini / Virgo / Sagittarius / pisces.

They represent Adaptiblity, adjustment,  middle path,  sharing, giving etc 

Many people complain,  they performed remedies but didn't get any results. 

Does Remedies work or not ?  

As mentioned in 1st paragraph, karma are stored in space aka Rashi / sign.

Any extreme paapa /sinful karma committed ! can the remedies will get away from it ?  

Answer is clearly NO 

Our text's speak, which karma are changeable and which karma can't be remedied?  

Answer lies in space /Rashi /sign, As per classical scriptures.

Moving signs (1/4/7/10) represent Adhrida karm, those karm which can be remedied by Graha Pooja,  graha SHANTI, mantra etc. Affliction of planet's in these signs can be remedied due to nature of space they own.

Fixed sign (2/5/8/11) represent Dridha karm which can not be fixed by remedy. We have to face the results.  

Any planet afflicted or any fixed sign in paap kartari will denote, extremely bad karma in past births hence such placements in chart. No matter what remedy we do planet will give result they are supposed to give. 

Best way to tackle, is to let whatever come and use time as your tool to let it lapse, wait for another day,  as someone well said.

To win a war tomorrow,

it's necessary to survive today. 

Dual sign (3/6/9/12)  have both fixed and movable quality, so here 0 to 15 degree stand for Dridha karm (fixed)  and from 15 to 30 degree stand for Adridha karm movable karm,  

so if there is a planet in these range of 0 to 15 degree we try to do  remedies for that planet then it may not work out 

but for planet located in later degree of 15 to 30 degree we have a chance to benefut by performing Pooja, Shanti, mantra, as remidial measure.

Advising for remedies, an keen eye on nature of sign is necessary.

पावन विद्या ज्योतिष पर एक विचार :

क्या और क्यों कदाचित ज्योतिषी को निन्दनीय कहने लगे है कुछ तथाकथित बुद्धजीवी ?

हर ज्ञान या शक्ति का दुरुपयोग किया जा सकता है और होता भी है 

पर मूलतः उसके अच्छे उपयोग या उद्देश्य को ध्यान में रख कर ही शास्त्र वचन लिखे गए जिससे आगामी पीढ़ियां लाभान्वित हों और इन्ही कारणों से शास्त्रों का अध्ययन किया जाता है । 

इसी उद्देश्य से ज्योतिष शास्त्र को विशिष्ट स्थान प्रदत्त हुआ था ।।

जिस प्रकार से शासन में सत्ता का दुरुपयोग रोकने के लिए संविधान तथा कानून बने हैं परन्तु कदाचित उनसे निर्दोष लोगों को भी तंग होने के उदाहरण मिलते हैं ।

कविता का भी समाज को प्रेरणा देने में उपयोग रहा है । यदि इससे चाटुकारिता के साधन मात्र से हित चिंतन का माध्यम बनाया जाय, तो वह निन्दनीय कृत्य की श्रेणी में होगा ।।

स्रष्टा रूप ब्रह्म को भी *'कवि'* कहा गया है। 

किन्तु कविता द्वारा किसी की चाटुकारिता करने पर उसे कवि की संज्ञा से हटा कर चारण या भांट की संज्ञा दी गई ।

उसी श्रेणी में ज्योतिष के नियम अनुपालन में यदि लिप्सा, प्रमाद, लोभ आदि दुर्भावना से प्रयुक्त किया तो निःसंदेह ऐसा करने पर ज्योतिषी दोषी होगा, और उसे अप्रत्यक्ष इसके फल भोगने पड़ेंगे यह निर्विवाद है, तभी नक्षत्र सूचक शब्द को शास्त्रों में उल्लेखित किया गया है ।

 *रामचरितमानस, बालकाण्ड* में लिखा है –

कीन्हे प्राकृत जन गुणगाना। सिर धुनि गिरा लगत पछिताना॥

सरस्वती भी पछताती हैं कि ऐसे लोगों को बुद्धि क्यों दी जो लौकिक मनुष्यों का गुणगान करते हैं।

श्रीपति के *सिद्धान्त शेखर* (१/७) की टीका में कहा है –

नक्षत्रसूचको वैद्यो द्वौ तौ नरकगामिनौ।

तथा-चित्रकृत् काव्यकर्त्ता च वैद्यो नक्षत्रपाठकः।

चत्वारो नरकं यान्ति यावच्चन्द्रदिवाकरौ॥

अर्थात् कर्म च्युत (सिद्धांत विहीन) चित्रकार, कवि, वैद्य तथा ज्योतिषी ( नक्षत्र सूचक) - ये चार तब तक नर्क में रहते हैं जब तक चन्द्र-सूर्य हैं 

अन्यत्र उल्लेख मिलता है ।।

अविदित्वैव यच्छास्त्रं दैवज्ञत्वं प्रपद्यते।

स पंक्तिदूषकः पापो ज्ञेयः नक्षत्र सूचकः॥

अर्थात् जो बिना शास्त्र जाने अपने को *'दैवज्ञ'* दिखाता है, वह पंक्तिदूषक तथा पापी है, उसे *नक्षत्रसूचक* कहते हैं।

न संवत्सर पाठाच्च नरकेषूपपद्यते।

ब्रह्मलोक प्रतिष्ठां च लभते दैवचिन्तकः॥

ग्रन्थतथ्यार्थतश्चैव कृत्स्नं जानाति यो द्विजः।

अग्रभुक् च भवेच्छ्राद्धे पूजितः पंक्तिपावनः॥

अर्थात् जो ग्रन्थ का तथ्य तथा अर्थ पूरी तरह जानता है वह पंक्तिपावन है तथा श्राद्ध में उसकी अग्रपूजा होती है।

ज्योतिष कर्म के दोष पर अन्यत्र उल्लेख मिलता है

गणिका गणकश्चैव स्व पञ्चाङ्ग प्रदर्शिनौ।

ददाति गणिका किञ्चित् गणको हरते सदा॥

= गणिका (वेश्या) तथा गणक (ज्योतिषी) – दोनों अपना पञ्चाङ्ग दिखाते हैं। गणिका कुछ देती भी है, किन्तु गणक सदा हरण करता है। 

वृहत् संहिता* (२/३२)-

अविदित्यै वयः शास्त्रं दैवज्ञत्वं प्रपद्यते।

स पङ्क्तिदूषकः पापो ज्ञेयो नक्षत्रसूचकः॥

सिद्धान्त दर्पण* (१५/६८)

नृणां पापं दशदिनकृतं हन्ति सिद्धान्तवेत्ता,/दृष्टः सद्यः त्रिदिन जनितं तन्त्रवेत्ता निहन्ति।

एकाहोत्थं करणनिपुणो यस्तु शास्त्रानभिज्ञः, कालं वृत्ते बहुवृजिनदः सोऽत्र नक्षत्रसूची॥

अर्थात् *सिद्धान्त ज्योतिष* जाननेवाले के दर्शन से मनुष्य का पिछले १० दिन का किया पाप नष्ट हो जाता है। तन्त्र ग्रन्थ* के ज्ञाता के दर्शन से तीन दिन का तथा *करण* ज्ञाता के दर्शन से १ दिन का पाप नष्ट होता है। किन्तु बिना शास्त्र जाने जो काल के बारे में बता कर अपना प्रचार करता है, वह *'नक्षत्र-सूची'* है।

टिप्पणी –

सिद्धान्त ज्योतिष – सृष्टि आरम्भ से गणना, सृष्टि विज्ञान, वेध, ग्रहण आदि लक्षण 

तन्त्र ग्रन्थ – कलि आरम्भ से गणना, वेध।

करण ग्रन्थ – किसी निकट काल से गणना (ready reckoner)

बहु वृजि नदः – अपने ज्ञान का ढोल पीटनेवाला, मिथ्या विज्ञापन।

नक्षत्र का अर्थ विहग या विहंग भी है – आकाश में गमन करने वाला। यह पक्षी या तारा को कहा जाता है। 

नक्षत्र-सूची को भोजपुरी में *बहेंगवा (विहंगम) के टाटी (गट्ठर, सूची)* कहते हैं जिसका अर्थ *'मूर्ख'* है।

नक्षत्र को *'भ'* कहते हैं। *'भकुआ', 'भकोल'* आदि शब्द पूर्व भारत, काशी में मूर्ख के लिये प्रयुक्त हैं। इसका एक कारण तो मेलापक में *भकूट* का मिलन है। इसका अर्थ है, परस्पर के दोषों को देखकर *भकूट* – भकुआ बने रहेंगे। उस पर अधिक ध्यान देने से विवाह नहीं चल पायेगा। नक्षत्र को *'भेकुर'* या *'भाकुर'* कहा गया है –

तस्य नक्षत्राण्यप्सरसो भेकुरयो नाम* (वाजसनेयी १८/४०, काण्व संहिता, १८/१४, मैत्रायणी संहिता, २/१२/२, तैत्तिरीय संहिता, ३/४/७/१)

नक्षत्रों में अप्सरा या हूर खोजनेवाला मूर्ख है!

भाकुरयो ह नामैते भाँ हि नक्षत्राणि कुर्वन्ति।* (शतपथ ब्राह्मण, ९/४/१/९)

|| FIVE FACES OF SHIVA ||

Lord Shiva has five faces called Ishana, Tatpurusha, Aghora, Vamadeva and Sadyojatha. These five faces of Shiva represent the five basic elements viz. akash, air, fire, water and earth. In fact these faces can be called five forms of Shiva. Any creation has to be made out of these five gross elements.

A) Five Faces of Lord Shiva:

1. Sadyojata - West Face:

West is called as “Paschima or Pratyak”. The soul is called as “Pratyagaatma”. “Sadyaha which means just now and Jataha means now born. Shiva makes his presence felt through the countless souls being born. Hence the apt name 'Sadyosata'. This shows the creative aspect of Parameshvara. Since the very existence of any being starts from its birth, the Sadyosata aspect of Lord Shiva is prayed first.

The essence of the Sadyosata Mantra is : "O! Lord ! Sadyojaata, never give me desires which are the reason for this countless births and deaths. Please Bless me with the passion for liberation. My prayers to Sadyosata”.

This Sadyosata aspect is correlated with the following;

To “Shi” Beekakshara in Panchakshara Mantra

To “Mano Maya Kosha” amongst the five Koshas

To “Agni” principle among five principles “Pancha Bhuta”.

To “Manipuraka” among Six Chakras

To “Panchama (Pa)” Swara among the Seven Swaras

To “Ma” in 'Omkara'

Let us pray that Sadyosata face of Lord Shiva.

'Shivam Shaantam Jagannatham

Loka Anugraha Kaaranam

Shivam Ekam Param Vande

Shikaaraaya Namo Namaha'

2.Vaama Deva – North Face:

The term Vama means Left or innocent. If we stand facing east, North direction is to our left. Hence the north facing Shiva is worshipped as “Vaama Deva”. The left of a person is representative of the Shakti aspect. It represents “Maya and the feminine strength and beauty”, Hence in Ardha Nareeshwara aspect, we find the goddess on the left side.

The beautiful Vaama Deva is more ancient that the world’s creation. Hence he is the eldest. Since he is more worthy than others, he is the best. In catastrophic times, he is Rudra. He is Kaala in creation and causes the erosion of one’s age.

This Vaama Deva aspect is correlated with the following;

To “Vaa” Beekakshara in Panchakshara Mantra

To “Vijnaana Maya Kosha” amongst the five Koshas

To “Vaayu” principle among five principles “Pancha Bhuta”

To “Aanhata Chakra” among Six Chakras

To “Daivata (Dha) ” Swara among the Seven Swaras

To “Bindu” in 'Omkara'.

Let us offer prayers to such Vama Deva:

'Vaahanam Vrushabho Yasya

Vasukihi Kantha Bhushanam

Vaame Shati Dharam Vande

Va Kaaraaya Namo Namaha'

3. Aghora - South Face:

If we stand facing east, south is our right. Hence right side is called as “Bala”. As important as right hand is for humans, The South face is important to Lord Shiva. This is also famously known as “Dakshina Murthy”.

To know about the essence of the Adhora principle of Lord Shiva, one has to understand the meaning of the Aghora Mantra among the Pancha Brahma Mantra.

Those who worshipped the Aghora form of Shiva were called as “Aghoris”. Their main belief is that there is no such thing called “inauspicious” in this world because all that exists if Shiva himself. They generally live in graveyards and are naked. They use those things which the world has branded as “inauspicious”. They perform harsh penance. Those who worship Aghora form of Shiva are saved from natural catastrophe, water hardships and life threats.

This Aghora aspect is correlated with the following;

To “Ma” Beekakshara in Panchakshara Mantra

To “Prana Maya Kosha” amongst the five Koshas

To “Jala” principle among five principles “Pancha Bhuta”

To “Svadhishthana Chakra” among Six Chakras

To “Madyama (Ma)” Swara among the Seven Swaras

To “U” in 'Omkara'.

Our prayers to such Aghora form of Shiva:

'Mahadevam Mahatmanam

Maha Paataka Nashanam

Maha Paapa HaramVande

Makaaraaya Namo Namaha'

4. Tatpurasha - East Face:

The word “Tat” represents Paramatma. Tatpurusha means Saguna filled Para Brahma form. This is a important face of Parama Shiva. The form of Shiva that is in meditation and Blessing the world – is this face. Hence this eastern face is considered as the first face. The word “Tatpurusha” means “his person”. One who is always behind a person to protect is Tatpurusha.

This Tatpurusha aspect is correlated with the following;

To “Na” Beekakshara in Panchakshara Mantra

To “Anna Maya Kosha” amongst the five Koshas

To “Earth” principle among five principles “Pancha Bhuta”

To “Muladhara” among six Chakras

To “Shadja (sa), Rushabha (ri) And Gandhara (ga)” Swaras among the Seven Swaras

To “A” in 'Omkara'.

Our prayers to this Tatpurusha form of Lord Shiva:

'Namaste Deva Devesha

Namaste Parameshvara

Namaste Vrushabharuudha

Na Kaaraaya Namo Namaha'

5. Eeshana - Skyward Face:

The word Ishvara is form the root “Aisha – Aishwarye”. Total wealth means the total control and ownership of all the fourteen worlds. Such form of Shiva, who is the total owner of the fourteen worlds, is called as Eeshna.

This face is skywards. Which means it is on top of the other four faces which face the four directions. This fifth face of Shiva represents the creation – balance – annihilation energies and control and chaos energies. Eeshna face of Shiva which is skywards indicates the total encompassing energy of Lord Shiva.

This Eeshna aspect is correlated with the following;

To “Ya” Beekakshara in Panchakshara Mantra

To “Ananda Maya Kosha” amongst the five Koshas

To “Aakasha (ether)” principle among five principles “Pancha Bhuta”

To “Vishuddha, Ajna & Sahasra Chakra ” among Six Chakras

To “Nishada (ni)” Swara among the Seven Swaras

To Nada aspect in 'Omkara'.

Let us pray such Eeshna form of Lord Shiva:

'Yatra Kutra Sthitam Devam

Sarva Vyaapi Namishvaram

Yallingam Puujayeennithyam

Ya Kaaraaya Namo Namaha"

B) Pancha-Brahma mantras, Krishna Yajur veda, Taittiriya Aranyaka (X.17-21):

1. Sadyojāta Mantra:

सद्योजातं प्रपद्यामि सद्योजाताय वै नमो नमः।

भवे भवे नाति भवे भवस्व मां भवोद्भवाय नमः॥

sadyojātam prapadyāmi sadyojātāya vai namo namah

bhave bhave nāti bhave bhavasva mām bhavodbhavāya namah

I take refuge in the First Born, verily I bow to the First Born

Do not consign me to birth after birth;

Guide me beyond birth, I bow to the Causer of birth.

2. Vāmadeva Mantra:

वामदेवायनमो ज्येष्ठाय नमः श्रेष्ठाय

नमो रुद्राय नमः कालाय नमः।

कलविकरणाय नमो बलाय नमो

बलविकरणाय नमो बलप्रमथनाय नमः।

सर्वभूतदमनाय नमो मनोन्मनाय नमः॥

vāmadevāya namh jyesthāya namah śresthāya

namo rudrāya namah kālāya namah

kalavikaranāya namo balāya namo

balavikaranāya namo balapramathanāya namah

sarvabhūtadamanāya namo manonmanāya namah

I bow to the Noble One, the Eldest; to the Best, to Rudra and to Time,

I bow to the Incomprehensible, to Strength,

To the Causer of various forces, and to the Extender of Strength.

I bow to the Subduer of all beings, and to the One who kindles the Light.

3. Aghora Mantra:

अघोरेभ्योऽथ घोरेभ्यो अघोरघोरेतरेभ्यः।

सर्वतः शर्वः सर्वेभ्यो नमस्ते रुद्र रूपेभ्यः॥

aghorebhyo'tha ghorebhyo aghoraghoretarebhyah

sarvatah śarvah sarvebhyo namaste rudra rūpebhyah

I bow to those not terrible and those who are terrible,

And to those who are both terrible and not terrible.

Everywhere and always, Śarva, I bow to all Thy Rudra forms.

4. Tatpurusa Mantra:

तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महादेवाय धीमहि।

तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात्॥

tatpurushāya vidmahe mahādevāya dhīmahi

tanno rudrah pracodayāt

May we know that Supreme Person

And mediate on that Great God,

May Rudra impel us!

5. Īśāna Mantra:

ईशान सर्वविद्यानामीश्वरः सर्वभूतानां ब्रह्मादिपति ब्रह्मणोऽधिपतिर्।

ब्रह्मा शिवो मे अस्तु स एव सदाशिव ओम्॥

īśāna sarvavidyānāmīśvarah sarvabhūtānām brahmādipati brahmano'dhipatir

brahmā śivo me astu sa eva sadāśiva om

Ruler of all knowledge, Master of all beings,

Commander of all study and devotion,

That God Auspicious to me,

Be He just so, the Ever-Auspicious Om.

A theory  of numbers in  astrology.

a union (sex act) between a man and woman creates a child.- 5 house.

a man must a capacity to perform--8 house,

he must have a partner--7 house.

he must have a chance to perform--12 house.

he must perform with vitality-- 3 house.

we know that 3,6,10 and 11 are upachaya meaning growth rasis..

now we find  5 house is 3 to 3,

5 house is 6 to 12,

5 house is 10 to 8 and 

5 house is 11 to 7.

hence 5 house is one of the growth rasi of  3,7,8 and 12

it means 3,7,8 and 12 houses have a role to play in getting a child.

Moon Vs Mercury and Sun vs Saturn 

We all Hindus are aware of puranic story of Tara, the wife of Jupiter who deceptively got involved with moon and mercury got it's birth 

What implications of this story on vedic Jyotish shastras?  

Moon stand for mind, our memory card (yaade) habits, thinking pattern, thoughts process.

Mercury stand for presence of mind which means it's speed by which we use information available inside our mind 

In shastra's it's said moon is seed of mercury which means quality of thoughts and memory stored inside mind aka moon only that can be used by mercury 

To illustrate this let's take example of famous internet firewall of China 

See we are using a server of suppose China they use firewall hence u can access to only those information which are present in server of China, u cannot see information available in server of USA because of firewall build by china for it's citizen, so Chinese citizen can access to only those information which CPC want it's citizen right to have , This firewall server is like moon, it's our mind, all information, memory are in this. 

Mercury is the u r modem or our phone we use to access  the information, now if we use good core processor we get that information quickly and if we use decade old technology processor it will take some time for it to provide us the information 

Now suppose One one who have USA server will have access to more information as this server permit it to access to all other server there isn't any firewall to block information 

Mercury is only the tool which we use to access Information as fast as it can and it cannot help us to access information which aren't in server My point is simple when server don't have information mercury cannot make us avaliable that information as its outside the server 

Moon as mind decide how much information we have and mercury is the tool to use the information as quickly as I can, that's why shastras say moon is seed of mercury, when we are studying nature of mercury always first study how auspicious is moon in Chart,  a moon who's afflicted by multiple malefic and no friendly planet in 2/12 or trine to support will be weak such people have less memory in their chip and even if they have exalted mercury It can only use the information provided by moon but they will access it and use it very very fast , deb moon or any other Deb planet isn't weak it's just that natural signification isn't in sync with sign they are in, hence deb moon is just restless mind it's weak only when multiple malefic afflict It 

Now as per Weak moon definately given by me such people have firewall, they cannot think beyond certain level, even if mercury is strong they can only use the information in the server not beyond it, that's why i said moon is seed of mercury 

Strong auspicious moon with friendly planet but a weak mercury only means they have information but access speed is slow they understand things and  react only after some time lapses and deep thinking over it but they will understand things later 

Best case is when moon is auspicious and mercury is also auspicious here information stored is very good and speed to utilise is also extremely fast 

Same rule apply for sun and Saturn, we all know it's story too, Saturn is karma and sun is kriya or activities, posturing we take while doing anything is Sun ☀, when we study result of Saturn always check how auspicious is sun in Chart, sun stand for posturing we take while doing karma, if sun is good we do karma which bring recognition, we will meet people through out our life who complain they don't get Yash for their work because seed of karma the sun is weak,  the posturing don't aspire confidence Of people end result is we work like donkey without recognition, people who do great karma always have support of sun mostly they should be away from each other 7th aspect is best both sun and Saturn when good give fame 

That why we say to learn jyotisha Shastra we need to learn about sanathan

Saturn and Sun, both are father son duo,

which father hates his son? 

None

Father always want son to do things which make him proud for that reason he try to push his son hard even though he doesn't like it or not this desire of father create struggle in their bond, so is case of Saturn and sun, but even with all this fiction points father will ponder over son situation ask about his whereabouts and keep an eyes on him this is how sun saturn also play out in horoscope 

Sun is primal source of energy, stand for activity and robustness, sun is aatmakarak IT show what our soul want to manifest in our life and his son is saturn karak of karma, activities done by sun create karma who's saturn 

We can judge this combo in following 5 planes manner 

1. Effect on physical body - sun is heart and eyes, Saturn gives dim eyes, black spot under eyes, heart systen should be checked well in every check up, Saturn is air element when with sun plain in bones and acidity problem 

2. Effect on relationships - sun is natural father and Saturn elder brother, native will have generational gap related misunderstanding with father and ego problems with elder sibling, relationship improve once Saturn maturity age 

3. Effect on karma creation - Saturn is karma and sun is king /government, this combo makes native very cautious, native fear their reputation will be ruined by enemy hence they trend cautiously for every work so that no one would be able to accuse them of wrongdoing, they are slow but stable, native does well in administration specially gov (typical babudom nature of doing work)  politic suit them 

4. Effect on spiritual aspect - native believe karma is dharma, doing  seva and good karma is way to reach God 

5. Effect on finance - native get income from doing administration, if sun is ahead by degree native is known for great karma and well good status specially if sun strong and if weak we struggle for name and fame 

If Saturn is strong then native father had done social work and got fame, native struggle to get out of shadow of father 

So this combo have good and bad effect we should all aspects patiently but remember this combo without strong sun in horoscope (seed of Saturn)  we cannot be well known and Saturn cannot give his full result

 now best thing to happen in this combo is when sun and Saturn are 7th to each other this empower Saturn and give fame for work in later part of career.
