Two important methods for determining travel date [यात्रा मुहुर्त]
I am giving two important rules for deciding fruitful travel date from Purvakalamrit book of KALIDAS. One can find similar Muhurth in other classics of Ram Daivagya and Badrayan.
1] TRYANK Muhurth [त्र्यंक मुहुर्त]
A] [tithi +nakshtra no + day number] * 2 /7 = remainder is not zero it is good if zero it indicates pain.
B] [tithi +nakshtra no + day number] *3/ 8 = remainder is not zero it is good if it is zero it indicates fear.
C] [tithi +nakshtra no + day number] *4 /6 =remainder is not zero it is good if it is zero it indicates loss.
If all three are zero it indicates death. If all three are non zero it is very good.
2] Panchank muhurth [पंचांक मुहुर्त]
A] [tithi +nakshtra no + day number] + 15 / 9 = rog panchak Rog panchak is not zero it is good if it is zero it gives disease [रोग भय]
B] [tithi +nakshtra no + day number] + 12/ 9 = Agnipanchak Agnipanchak is not zero it is good if it is zero it gives fear from fire [अग्नि भय]
C] [tithi +nakshtra no + day number] + 10/9 = Rajpanchak Raj Panchak is not zero it is good if it is zero it gives fear from king [राज भय]
D] [ tithi +nakshtra no + day number] + 8 /9 = Chor panchak Chor Panchak is not zero it is good if it is zero it gives fear from thief [चोर भय ]
E] [ tithi +nakshtra no + day number] + 4 /9 = Mrityu panchak Mrityu Panchak is not zero it is good if it is zero it gives death affliction [ मृत्यु भय ]
Note Counting of tithi is done from shukla paksh i.e. Shukla panchami = 5 , Krishna pratipada = 16 ,
Counting of nakshtra is done from Ashwini i.e. Ashwini = 1, Magha = 10 , Rewati = 27
Counting of day is done from Sunday i.e. Sunday = 1, Tuesday = 3 Friday = 6 and so on.
