MORE ABOUT HORA :: Unlike the Navamsa Chart, the Hora is not constructed as a chart, per se, but is a list of whether each planet is posited strong or weak Hora. Dividing the rasi by two, each Hora is comprised of 15 Degrees. The Hora chart distinguishes whether 'each planet is in a hora of the Sun or The Moon'. A Planet is cnsidered to be in the Hora of the Sunif it is 0-15° of a masculine sign,
namely Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius, and 16° to 30° of
feminine sign, namely Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces. A planet
is deemed to be in the Hora of the Moon, if it is 0-15° of a feminine sign, and
16° to 30° of a masculine sign. It is said that the Sun, Mars and Jupiter are
