Vedic Vision.

Rashi / sign stand for 360 degree space around us. Whatever karm we do or wish to do will be stored in this space and subsequently we reap results of what we have sown.

We know there are 3 type of Rashi's.

1. Moving Sign - Aries  /Cancer  / Libra  / Capricorn. 

They represent movement, activities, energy and abilities to achieve Etc.

2. Fixed sign - Taurus  /Leo  / Scorpio / Aquarius. 

They show firmness , status quo , stability, moving everything around them , determination, resistance, and fixed outlook Etc.

3. Dual Sign - Gemini / Virgo / Sagittarius / pisces.

They represent Adaptiblity, adjustment,  middle path,  sharing, giving etc 

Many people complain,  they performed remedies but didn't get any results. 

Does Remedies work or not ?  

As mentioned in 1st paragraph, karma are stored in space aka Rashi / sign.

Any extreme paapa /sinful karma committed ! can the remedies will get away from it ?  

Answer is clearly NO 

Our text's speak, which karma are changeable and which karma can't be remedied?  

Answer lies in space /Rashi /sign, As per classical scriptures.

Moving signs (1/4/7/10) represent Adhrida karm, those karm which can be remedied by Graha Pooja,  graha SHANTI, mantra etc. Affliction of planet's in these signs can be remedied due to nature of space they own.

Fixed sign (2/5/8/11) represent Dridha karm which can not be fixed by remedy. We have to face the results.  

Any planet afflicted or any fixed sign in paap kartari will denote, extremely bad karma in past births hence such placements in chart. No matter what remedy we do planet will give result they are supposed to give. 

Best way to tackle, is to let whatever come and use time as your tool to let it lapse, wait for another day,  as someone well said.

Dual sign (3/6/9/12)  have both fixed and movable quality, so here 0 to 15 degree stand for Dridha karm (fixed)  and from 15 to 30 degree stand for Adridha karm movable karm,  

so if there is a planet in these range of 0 to 15 degree we try to do  remedies for that planet then it may not work out 

but for planet located in later degree of 15 to 30 degree we have a chance to benefut by performing Pooja, Shanti, mantra, as remidial measure.

Advising for remedies, an keen eye on nature of sign is necessary.
