√ progressive motion of luminaries is time. It's said that Time will never comes back and as we all know luminaries never ever get retro hence time never comes back.
● As per science tides (jawarbhata) in water (approximately 70% on earth) are caused by influence of Luminaries and earth motion around them. Moon being closest have strongest influence on earth water bodies.
