Role of a member in an organisation

 Respected Elders and friends

Namaste.

Very humbly, I share my views.

Admittedly  I am associated with one or two organisations. It is because of you, and our elders.

I have always laboured in my journey with learneds to be honest. In that regard I perceived about : THE ROLE OF A MEMBER IN AN ORGANIZATION. ?

1. That the organization is run on a set of principles to which every like-minded member individually subscribes.

2. The organisation can sustain when all the different elements and stakeholders behave in a mutually symbiotic manner.

3. To sustain, there are certain norms, behaviours and considerations that are expected of the stakeholders.

4. The norms and the systems have to be such that nourish the involved entities.

5. The overarching governing principle of such units of inter-dependent entities helps to define norms, behaviours, duties and codes of conduct for interactions and ensures their symbiotic existence.

6. In an organization the task of the leaders (office bearers) of the organization is to articulate the vision of our elders at every given opportunity and they are duty-bound to expand it as a general appeal.

7. The organization needs to be rooted in our society. It needs to play an active and positive role in the general masses, to put-forth as an upright and justified organization with selfless motives, in the fields we venture.

8. In the process the body should be an agenda driven, setting the formulations as an aggregation of common objectives.

9. That way, it should be amply loud and clear in our minds that any imposition of self interest projection and self praise and individual boastings and blasting’s have to be shelved, forgotten and left behind.

10. The individual drum beater’s for self acclamations would be an stigma on the organization.

11. Such acts may become litany of failures and earn bad name and reputation.

12. The task of selling or spelling self , to weave in for a personal charisma, to generate personal name and money, etc. the trust in the ability of collective leadership is lost or hampered and the vision of our elders is damaged or shaken thus fails to evoke true faith in our fellow colleagues and for future to be a colleague.

Fulfilling this task certainly rests on each individual, but the onus lies more on our collective leadership.

Thank you for yours' love, affection and respect.
