मांगलिक दोष : I recall one quote : मंगल भुवन अमंगल हारी ....... Pl. note any word coined at least in Sanskrit (Hindi being her off shoot) contains within, the true sense & meaning of the word. So मंगल could be termed here as for GOODNESS, and when मंगल becomes अमंगल may be named as मंगल (मांगलिक ) दोष or something else astrologically. It may not need more references for astro students that any planet either categorised benefic or malefic naturally may turn otherwise (opposite) under given situations & conditions & placements. So मंगल which means all goodness in broader sense may become harmful ( अमंगल ) in adverse situations. I think many posts on face book continues about such adverse positioning etc. However I am of the view strongly that the chart in totality be studied very carefully before alarming / announcing any finality to the querrent. My astro friends & colleagues & seniors ( not आयु वृद्ध but ज्ञान वृद्ध ) Please do come forward for clarity. Shanker Nath Kapoor : Mars alone is not villain of the peace. All malefics including the Sun, Mars, Saturn Rahu & Ketu. Mind it is Kujadi Dosha and not confined to Mars : See Triphala Jyotish. Triphala Jyotish quantifies maleficience of each of these malefics by their presence in vulnerable houses. According to western Astrologers, extra saturnine planets, Pluto & Uranus also create marital problems. It is not that simple as it is assumed to be.

Mars is also karak for money, accordingly a word coined Market to denote that quality. Mars is important for match making , accordingly a word coined Marriage to denote that quality. Thus in case Mars is well placed/aspected/good houses lordship & good dasha periods we could expect better results in the said matters & if Mars adversely placed/aspected /evil houses lord ships & adverse dasha periods running,  difficulties in such matters may be encountered.  Seniors & Astro lovers may come forward to correct me please in larger interest.  please please.

Shrikant Kajaria : sir, Namaskar. I am not writing anything with reference to above because not knowing the references from ramayana though there are a lot of references available in balmik Ramayana. However I want to add on mangl dosa that as per the sloka the manglik dosa should be seen in bhava/chalit kundli not in D1 chart. Mostly I have seen people see it in D1 chart which is not correct as per the true interpretation of the sloka. please clarify.

However I reserve my view to your saying that it should not be seen in D1 & should be limited to Bhav chalit kundali.  I am of the view until you draw D1 you cannot find Bhav chalit. In other words observe in D1 & modify (make corrections) with the help of bhav chalit.   In short bhav chalit is supplanting D1.  astro friends may come forward to expand & correct me please.

Hari Sharma : Revered Gurus / dear friends, what BNS Sir, has posted is definitely a query which need much exploration and inputs from all learned friends. Not to mention, there are many too Astrologer’s… be them learned enough or not, be them Pandit’s of temple, be them self proclaimed big time Astrologer and so on..A big list..Only paints a scary picture of the Manglik dosha..that too by mere looking at the placement of Mars in 1,2,4,7,8,12.. Apart from having learnt the Astrology from my lineage & Eminent Astrologer from BVB & ICAS & practiced a bit, I firmly believe that Manglik dosha does not hold in many Lagna’s and there are numerous combo cancelling the same & I am sure many of my dear friends & Guru’s on this platform would nod…So, eventually a very few cases are left whereby a bit precaution is required.. Rather I put emphasis on Paap-Samya or Dosha Samya from three Angels to arrive at a near correct picture of issues in Marital-cord apart from other issues.. which is more potent methodology….we all may continue…please..regards..
