All the above temples are ancient Temples and most of them are Archaeological Sites of extreme importance. As far as the revered PanchKedar and PanchBadri Temples are concerned, they are all in distant mountains and valleys, which can be reached only after an arduous journey, usually on foot.
The question that arises is - *Why 79° E Longitude?*
The Science, Knowledge and Education systems of Ancient Indians was much more advanced than we can imagine. India, which was called BHARAT in the Ancient and Pre-Historic times, included modern day Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Burma. The vertical center of the entire stretch of this great civilization BHARAT was what we today know as 79° E. Accordingly, as per the ancient Vedic Calculations of Vaastu (Architecture) the current 79° E Longitude assumed great importance, and therefore several great Temples were consciously built on this very *Vertical Axis* to strengthen and radiate the Glory of BHARAT.
The Great ancient Maharishis, Sadhus and Rishi Munis of BHARAT, Saffron Clad Half Naked Ascetics, as they were 'fondly' called by the Western People, were actually Great Scientists. How they deciphered the geographical vertical center of INDIA, through unknown and unimaginable means, without use of Modern Day Satellites, GPS etc., is truly AMAZING. They knew so much and about so many things. They had experienced, studied and invented so many things, few of which are being reinvented now in the Western World.
Through their vast knowledge about Nature, Metals, Minerals, Nutrients, Human Body, Cosmic Influence, Astrology, Energy Sources, etc., they performed/got performed unimaginable tasks, such as using Sound as Cutting Tool, Moving extremely Heavy Stones, Calculated distances and the effects of Heavenly Bodies (Astronomy and Astrology) and so on. Indian Cities in those times were well planned with proper infrastructure, drainage and such necessities.
We have always heard that the Western or Chinese Travellers / Scholars (such as Megasthenes, Fa Hien, Marco Polo, Ibn Batuta, Hieun Tsang, and so on) came to India to study the Grandeur of Indian Traditions and System of Education and Politics, or some tried to find a new shorter sea route to India (such as Christopher Columbus who found Amercia instead, or Vasco Da Gama, etc.) to be able to do more trade, and so on. Try searching otherwise, i.e. Ancient Indian Scholars going abroad, or Indians finding route to Europe and you are sure to get strange and funny answers. Jokes apart, this is a really important aspect. In those times, Largely INDIA and CHINA also (both in the Eastern Hemisphere) were so much developed and advanced in terms of Education, Customs and Traditions, Discoveries, Architecture, Agriculture, Medicine and so on, that the WEST was always looking towards EAST. That time the Indians knew and believed in our own traditions and considered themselves to be a satisfied lot with their country and rarely went across the borders.
