MERCURY:
Mercury has green complexion, is pure, a yogi, rajasic, and of skilful speech. It is witty and likes jokes and laughter. It is son of Moon and it is adaptable. It is friendly to Sun and Venus while inimical to Moon and neutral to Mars, Jupiter and Sun. It is KARAKA to learning, skill, reflex, maternal uncle, studiousness, truthfulness, mathematics, friends, astrology, humour and places of entertainment (Cinema houses the like). Represents earth, arts and crafts, female eunuch, birds, months of Oct and Nov. In tropical countries, grass, green postures, alloy of metals, paper money and brokers in avocation. Intellect, writing, training others – including animals, circus, command over languages, editors, reporters, press work, Journalism, tendency to look shy like, skin, brain, intestines, bronchial tubes, impotence, larynx, accounts, insurance, agents of any sort, merchants, messengers, hypochondria, disturbed thinking process, worry, bad speech, apprehension on untoward happening, eye, throat, nose, sanitary needs. Mercury takes the nature and influence of the Planet influencing it – sambandha. (Jupiter is related to abstract thinking – thinking in rowing into wilderness) Mercury will lead to a concrete thinking. Mercury also represents acquisition, accumulation, and expenditure of Money. This planet could make one a naive, irrational, confused, immature, and even insane. It is by nature a beneficial planet, but could be easily influenced by a malefic planet in association, Drusti, and occupation of a house.
