The Ved have the three qualities as their object. You become free from worldliness, free from the pairs of duality, ever poised in the quality of satwa, without, desire for,  acquisition and protection and self collected.
Further explained as under :
You become ever poised in the quality of sattwa, and so also without, desire for, acquisition and protection.  For one has acquisition and protection foremost in mind, it is difficult to seek liberation. Hence, you be free from acquisition and protection. And also be self collected ( atmavan ) and vigilant. This is the advise given to you while you are engaged in your duty.
